SYLVATICA Bioprotect™ is supplied in a concentrated powder formulation, designed for controlled application by trained staff according to specifications.

Sylvatica Bioprotect™ is applied directly to the bark of the tree trunk and dries to a natural brown colour. 44kg of Sylvatica Bioprotect™ powder makes 500 litres of sprayable solution, which can treat 100–200 trees, depending on tree size and the level of protection required.

• Near waterholes: Treat all trees that require protection.

Sylvatica Bioprotect™ underwent a six-month field trial on a reserve with an elephant density of 1 per 1,000 hectares, focusing mainly on trees near waterholes. Throughout the trial, treated trees experienced no elephant damage, and the product remained effective even after more than 100mm of rain.
